06/08-08 Album updates
The upcoming album is at the moment almost finished. In the end everything was recorded as planned and the result became supreme. All hails to our producers for making our visions come true.
During the next weeks some corrections and mixing are to be done. The artwork is also soon to be finished and promotional work to commence.
We will also work on some video material and try to unleash a studio video when the time is right.

All the details concerning the album are to be revealed sometime soon!!

20/05-08 Iskald to enter studio!!
“June 16th the Norwegian black metal band Iskald will head for Berlin to start recording their second full-length album. This time Stamos Koiousis and Vangelis Labrakis from Greece will produce the album.
It has been almost two years since the debut album Shades of Misery was recorded, resulting in a huge uplift for the band. Now they're back and a month with pre-production has just ended. The new material sounds amazing, a new edge and speed has found its way into the band. Iskald sounds blacker than ever before!

14/05-08 May update!!
A lot of stuff has been going on in the Iskald camp lately, here's an update;


Inferno pictures:
First off all we want to thank everyone who showed up at the Inferno Festival supporting us. It was a blast to play in front of a fully packed John Dee that Saturday evening. Hopefully we can play at this excellent festival again sometime! The Norwegian newspaper Aftenposten gave the show 5 out of 6 points! Hail! Pre-production for our upcoming album:
The last month we have been working with a pre-production for our upcoming album. Things have worked out and we have nailed down all the songs for our upcoming album. It sounds just amazing. A new edge and speed has found it's way into the band, making our new material sound greater than ever before.
Who knows, maybe a preview will find it's way onto MySpace. We keep you posted!

21/01-08 Inferno Festival 2008, new album rising!!
It's with a great honor we can confirm that we will play at the Inferno Festival 2008, along with bands such as Satyricon, Behemoth, Gorgoroth and Shining...
We will play on Saturday the 22th March.

Iskald are currently working on their new album, which hopefully will be released late summer. Some songs are already finished and the material sounds a bit blacker and faster than before. Working titles includes "A Breath of Apocalypse" and "Journey to Hel". More info will be added soon!
Iskald has also made some line-up changes lately. Rene Zonneveld and Espen Solstad are now session live members. The new album will therefore include the same line-up as on Shades of Misery.

21/01-08 Inferno Kick Off
Iskald has been confirmed to play at the Inferno Kick Off Party, taking place 26th at John Dee, Oslo. Other bands playing this evening are Goat The Head and Stonegard. Doors open at 21.00 and tickets can be bought at this link!

A short video from the recording sessions of Shades of Misery has now been added to our Myspace profile and can be watched at this link! The video will be available for download direct from our website soon.

6/12-07 Big update
First of all we want to thank everyone who showed up and supported us in Oslo, Trondheim and in Bodø. We sure had a great time. Horns up to Vreid for making the gig at Blæst a blast.

We filmed our latest show at the BHCF Festival in Bodø. Don't know if any of the material will be used yet, but maybe a live clip will appear soon. We'll keep you posted.
During cristmas we will finish editing a movie taken from the Shades of Misery recording session. It will be available for download early 2008.
We are also planning on doing a video for one of the track on Shades of Misery. More info will follow!!

We are currently focusing on writing new material for our upcoming album which will be released next year. So far 3 songs are nearly finished. It sound better and darker than ever before!!

27/07-07 Concert in southern Norway, new reviews and interviews
In September we will perform a gig in southern Norway for the first time. Where and when will remain untold for now!!


Many new reviews have now been added to the review section. Metal Tribute gave us 6/6 while Visions Underground, Icon Music Mag, Neckbreaker and Metalicos gave us 9/10. Hail!!


Two new interviews with Lord of Metal and Eternal-terror have been added to the interview section.


For the past two months we did 3 concerts in northern parts of Norway. Everything went great and we would like to thank everyone who showed up. Some pictures will be added soon...


07/05-07 Shades of Misery released in Europe, new guitarist, upcoming gigs, new interviews
Shades of Misery in now available in Europe. You can buy the album at your local store or check out our merch section if you want to buy it online. Shades of Misery will also be available in USA and Russia soon.. Release dates will be confirmed soon!!


Lars Johannessen is no longer a member of Iskald because of personal reasons. We wish him good luck in the future!! Skål!
We are therefore proud to announce a new guitarist/singer to the Iskald army; Espen Solstad. He is for sure a perfect fit and will play his first concert with us already next Friday!


Two new gigs are now confirmed. 15th of June we will play at Det Sorte Får in Harstad and 23th of June we will play at Helheim Rock Café in Mo i Rana once again. Hope to see lots of people there...
